Okay, I should preface this by saying that my mom rocks anyway, but this week, she rocks big. My mom lives in Minneapolis, home of my ever lovin Vikings. {As most of you know, I am a diehard Viqueen fan. Obnoxiously, totally out of my tree, insanely, crazy about the Viqueens.} My mom isn't. She would rather stick hot needles in her eyes than discuss football. Oh she tries. Really she does. She'll glance at the sports page on Monday to see if they won or lost the day before, mostly to take my temperature before emailing me Monday morning from work. If they won, she's Chatty Cathy. If they lost, she just says good morning and pretty much leaves it at that. But back to why my mom rocks.
This card came in the mail Saturday. My mom made it just for me. :) And on the inside it says, "Amen" (God-fearin' woman that she is). My heart soared when I saw ths card. For someone who loves football about as much as she loves my combat pants, you gotta give her props. She drew that ubercute viking, colored him in all nice and made the whole card purple and gold.
Mom, you da bomb baby. I *heart* you!

Mmm, mmm, mmm ... check out these awesome kits that Noel Mignon has donated for the current challenge! Not one, but TWO prize packages, so we'll be choosing an HM on this bad boy. :)

Dang, how do you bloggers keep up with your blogs? Is there some trick to this I am missing? I got an email over the weekend from a gal asking me a question about something on the blog and I said to myself, "Self, you have a blog!" Sheesh, I got to get me some blog mojo or something.
So hey, I'm here bloggin and thought it would be cool to have another contest. Who doesn't love a good challenge every now and again, right? And besides that, you can win some delicious boo-tay from Noel Mignon (one of her ever lovin' sweet kits). :) YAY! I'll post a photo of the winner's kit later this week.
<------ Here's the sketch for this challenge. I thought it would be fun to do a HalfMap this time. The challenge starts today and closes at midnight (MST) on Sunday, September 7, 2008. Open to everyone, yada yada yada. The winner will be posted by Friday, September 12th.
Just one thing: if you've won a challenge here since the blog started, please wait three months to enter one again. Just trying to keep things fair and all. ;) I'm told even blogs need to be politically correct. Hmmm .... ok, good to know.
