When Pigs FlyThis is me, in a nutshell. I am an illustrator by trade, but quickly discovered that I would starve had I chosen that career path. I totally dig my job at BasicGrey, where I am the chief bottle washer and creative something or the other, depending on the day of the week. I love to teach scrapbooking and once convinced a student in Edmonton that I was Brad Pitt’s ex-wife. I answer to Fleck, Fleckster, Fleckinator and Vern. Call me Rebecca and I’ll have to hurt you. My love of the Minnesota Vikings borders on the obscene, or so my mother would tell you. I drink excessive amounts of Diet Coke with lime. I am snarky. A fly fishing guide once told me I have Tourette’s Syndrome when I catch a fish (great visual on that, eh?). All of my children have four legs and fur. My guilty pleasure is watching American Idol and I predicted Taylor Hicks to win the night his audition broadcasted. Oh, and he did. My latest goal is to get a tattoo on LA Ink. I fly by the seat of my pants because my mom gave me courage and high-tech wings.
